Plastic-coated chain link fences are widely used in chicken, duck, goose, rabbit and zoo fences. Mechanical equipment protection, highway guardrails, sports venue fences, road green belt protection nets. After the wire mesh is formed into a box-shaped container, it is filled with riprap and can be used to maintain and support seawalls, hillsides, roads and bridges, reservoirs and other civil engineering. It is a good material for flood prevention and flood control!
The welding problem of plastic-coated chain link fences is also a major issue of concern in today's era. The following are several issues that are of particular concern.
(1) The weld between cast iron and stainless steel is prone to cracks. If the welding process is slow and the process is not carried out properly, the weld and the two base materials may "peel off";
(2) The weld joint between cast iron and stainless steel is prone to embrittlement, which significantly reduces the mechanical properties of the joint;
(3) White cast iron structure is prone to appear on the cast iron base material side, which increases the brittleness and hardness of the weld and the difficulty of mechanical processing;
(4) Intergranular corrosion is prone to occur on the stainless steel base material side, which can cause cracks in severe cases;
(5) Due to the difference in linear expansion coefficient and cooling shrinkage between cast iron and stainless steel, the deformation after welding is more serious. Under the effect of welding stress, cracks or even fractures are prone to occur!
